DEICO is a test solutions provider for manufacturers that produces electromechanical systems, electrical units, and electrical boards worldwide. DEICO builds and standardizes reliable test solution infrastructures which fulfill your test requirements.

2023 is going to be a transformative year for DEICO. We proudly opened our new 2,000 square meter facility in Macunköy, Ankara, dedicated to PCB assembly line and mechanical manufacturing, and recorded a significant growth in our capabilities. But we didn't stop there. Recognizing the vital importance of seamless design processes, we started integrating PLM software into our operations.

Our productization efforts gained momentum this year. In the last year of our first strategic plan, we completed the year with 25% more revenue than we had targeted. By commissioning our Macunköy production facility, where the pcb assembly and mechanical production line is located, we increased our closed area size to 3000 m2 and reached 100 employees.

We restructured the engineering directorate in line with the productization strategy and established the Hardware and Software Design Directorate. Thus, products in LXI and PXI form factors, which include FPGA-based hardware design technologies, began to be developed. Our production area has been enlarged in line with the changing needs and with the commissioning of a modern production hall, our total indoor area has exceeded 1000 square meters. This year, the number of our employees increased to 80. In 2021, we exceeded the turnover limit of 30 million TL and displayed a growth performance of over 40%.

For our strategic plans, we started design work for the sale of products on HIL and ATE. We qualified the SLSC cards, which are the first products developed in this context, by using them in the systems we developed. We have restructured our processes and organization for rapid development and transformation by handling company products and services with a large team. As of this year, we reached a turnover of 20 million TL and reached a record sales figure for our sector and DEICO. While 2020 was behind us, we became a test and measurement company that resolutely pursues its goals with its expert team of 65 people, 300 projects completed and 10 products in number. By shaping our growing organization, we created a more transparent and more professional organization that is open to development and growth in the same year.

When we came to 2019, we reached a staff of 60 people, 30 of whom are engineers. The production of the Infotainment Test System developed for the automotive industry was completed and turned into a product. With the 2020-2022 strategic plan announced at the end of the year, we made the first planning of the steps that will make DEICO an international company. We have taken a very important step towards digitizing the ERP system to meet the needs of all processes.

We started with a large investment in the establishment of the ERP system for the professional management of our growing and diversifying products and services. We broke the delivery record with 7 different ATE and HIL test systems delivered. In the same year, we delivered 50 TPS. We started to produce solutions for this sector with the demands arising from the production test systems in the automotive sector. By integrating image processing and robotic technologies with our products, we met the production test system needs of different sectors. With the project realized together with Ankara Development Agency, we increased our production capacity of ATE and TPS systems by 50% and met the need for growth.

We moved to our new 750 m2 facility located in Teknopark Ankara in order to meet the needs of the facility and to serve in more modern areas. We made our first test device sale to the Arçelik Bolu Cooking Device factory. With the increase in the demand for the products we produce and the products we supply, we have increased our staff to 35.

Our First ATE Production
Our First ATE Production

We started the development of automatic test systems (ATE) with the aim of providing solutions to our customers hardware testing needs at advanced standards, and we delivered our first product in this field. We have delivered our first ATE can test the hardware of many avionic platforms. At the same time, we expanded our engineer and expert staff and reached a staff of 18 people. In terms of sales figures, we grew 100% compared to the previous year and became the largest Turkish company in this field. We signed a cooperation agreement with JTAG Technologies, the most competent and well-established company in the field of Boundary Scan solutions, and thus expanded the solutions we offer to our customers for hardware testing.

As our customers’ needs for testing equipment became more complex, we continued to expand our solutions with innovative and new products and to increase our investments. We moved to our new facility in METU Technopolis. By expanding our engineering staff, we started the design and production of Test Program Sets, which combine mechanical skills with hardware and software. In the same year, we signed a National Instruments partnership agreement. At the end of 2015, we became a team of 7 people.

We started the production of mechanical test fixtures and electromechanical test equipment. We continued to grow, with our customers in different industries. In the same year, we established and certified our quality management system within the framework of ISO 9001.

DEICO was established in Ankara, Ostim as the first Turkish company to manufacture test and measurement devices. Our first goal was to provide our customers with solutions for their electronic card test system’s needs.
